Division News

The latest division news will be posted in this area.

1. The Fort Pitt Division held a meet on Sunday, January 27 at the Syria Shrine Conference Center in Cheswick.  The meet began on a somber note as Jim Burke informed the group of the passing of former Division President, Bob Hazlett.  Jim asked for a moment of silence as we remembered a man who was such an important part of the TCA.

When the meet resumed, David Matthews, Lockon editor announced that the new edition of the Division newsletter was now available on the website. He said that there would always be a limited number of printed versions of the Lockon at our Division meets.

Jim Burke then spoke to members about the TCA National's Win Big Membership Campaign.  He explained that members who recruit one or two new members can earn a chance in a raffle of a Lionel or MTH Big Boy.  He said our Division can also win.  The Division that records the largest number of new members and the Division that records the greatest percentage of new members will win a Big Boy.

The Ft. Pitt Hi-Railers and the Kids Club set up their modular layouts and entertained and educated train lovers of all ages.
